I think that is its an outrage that you consider Carls death to be linked with his profesionnal life. His son Florian had passed away and he was on a lot of drugs to keep him out of depression. His son was a good friend of mine and its insulting to me that the only reason imagible that he died to you is nothing else then grief...

I never implied that Mr. Belding was unstable. My focus is the Big 4 and the number of coincidences and commonalities amongst companies and the firm involved. Unfortunately for the many, many people who keep searching for information about this man's death, there was very little said at the time by his employer or much said since in the press about how or why it had happened. He was too prominent and there was too much else going on for people not to be quite curious about this absence of detail.

Shocking that this blogger has done so much "research" and missed the real reason for Carl's instability: his 14 year old son lost an 8 month battle to cancer. Any suggestion that Carl was involved with any shady dealings is absurd. Carl not only possessed a brilliant mind; more importantly, he possessed complete integrity. To suggest otherwise is extremely offensive to anyone who knew Carl well.

Rest in peace with Florian, Carl.

Or could it be that he was extremely depressed after his son passed away in cancer recently?
