Taking Myself Seriously

By Francine • Jun 23rd, 2008 • Category: Pure Content

I often get asked, “fm, how did you grow the site so quickly?  What’s your secret?”

Well as an accountant and a certified Type-A, I’m pretty detail oriented.  So I bring focus and an appreciation for “measuring the results” to everything I do.
(I’d be glad to speak at your next meeting or conference.  Call me!)

But seriously, I think that the blog has been more successful whenever I inject a little of myself into it.  Some have worried about me, some have called me daring, some have fallen in love, and some have called me names.

But I know what I know if you know what I mean…

That’s why it’s always nice to see I’m not alone in writing about a serious subject sometimes irreverently to make it at least palatable, if not enjoyable, to learn more.

These guys have been supportive of what I’m doing from the beginning.

  1. Francine

I’m jealous. As far as I know not a single person has fallen in love with me through my blog…

    Maybe it’s a boy / girl thing

Maybe I’ve got lots to learn!

  2. Richard, Maybe you should try stilettos?

In the meantime, you have your citations in FT. I would give up all of my admirers for just one of those.
