Aren't we going to get a whole slew of new compliance regulation?

In greece prior to the euro, the economy and the currency would collapse, vacations there got cheap, tourism picked up, revenues were raised, everyone got paid, banks & currency came back. An odd cycle but apparently it worked. Is it becoming the same with the Big Four? Corrunption, market collapse, revenues decimated, massive layoffs, Feds to act decisively, new SOX laws, compliance deadlines to be met, audit staffing to meet the new workload, revenues (and bonus pools) are back. Record profits reported at major clients. CEO to resign suddenly for personal reasons, and on and on. Like they used to tell me: just shut up and go with the flow.

so, eom.

PCAOB? It is awaiting instructions from Goldman Sachs before it does anything with PWC. Consider, PWC audits Goldman and if PWC went down Goldman would need another firm. If Goldman wants to keep PWC, the PCAOB will do nothing. Laugh! Where's the PCAOB? Hiding behind Waldo!
